Wagon 3 at seat 27...

I heard the conductor blow the whistle and I ran towards the train, there was no way I could miss this train! My life depended on it. Luckily the conductor saw me and left the door open. He said to me „ You just made it! Do you have your ticket?“ I searched frantically through my bag and presented it to him. I was in Bad Kreuznach heading to Berlin! I did not make a reservation but fortunately the train was not too full.

I found a compartment that was half full. There was an intense blond woman seated by the window . „ Ist dieser Platz Frei?" She turned to look at me and said „ Yes, please take a seat.“

I sat down and reviewed my electronic notes in my internet/camera watch. I was to meet a French man wearing a green rain coat with yellow shoes in wagon 17 in 10 minutes.

I slowly headed down the corridor, I arrived in wagon 17, it was practically empyt except for a pair and their two children. This was my first mission for the underground organisation. I only had a small pistol in case ... The I saw him, he was an odd character that one would normally avoid in a dark alley. He had no package, I started to feel a bit apprehensive. He sat down and I noticed he left an envelope, there was a loud noice in  the connecting car and I turned to see what the commotion was. In this split second he had disappeared. I quickly went over and grabbed the envelope. I went towards the bathroom to read the note. The letter said the package was in wagon 3 under seat 27. My first impulse was to run to get the package but I remained calm. I did not want to bring too much attention to myself.

I arrived in wagon 3 at seat 27, somebody had just sat down. I really thought these people were supposed to be professionals! I sat patiently at another seat with a good view. I could see the package! The person behind got up and I sat behind. I could just reach it. What a relief. I had 15 minutes to get back to retreive my bag as we were coming into Frankfurt station where I would change to the train to Berlin.

It was a relief to be on the train direct to Berlin. Now I could open up the package and check the contents...
