Waiting
Malin Näsholm

The weather had been absolutely lovely the whole day. It had been fairly warm with the sun shining and strong winds from the sea had really just made her feel more alive. She had gotten up early for a quick breakfast. Andreas had been talking to some woman, so she had decided not to disturb him and went out to explore the island on her own. She had taken a long walk and finally settled on a place overlookingthesea where she had started her first paiting. When she finally decided go, she was frozen all the way though, but she had almost finished this painting and had ideas for a dozen more. After a hot cup of tea and a quick shower, it was time to meet Andreas (link to Andreas Faulstich, .

She had been at the restaurant for almost an hour. After a while she had given up on Andreas coming and started her dinner. She had gotten angrier and angrier while eating. Okay to be late, but this was ridiculous (link to Alexandra Haas und Andreas Faulstich, Food for thoughts)! She decided that she wouldn't let him ruin her evening, and that he definitely wouldn't find her there waiting for him. She walked outside and saw the full moon shining brightly (link to Henrike, Life as a journey) in the clear sky. The beauty of the waves reflecting in the silvery leight and the neverending song of the ocean brought back her peace and she felt a quiet joy that she was here to see thewonders at the island.
