Dear Chris!

I' m on my way to Achill Island, the place where that mysterious meeting with friends and family of Brian O'Donnell takes place. Yesterday I arrived in Dublin. Nice pubs, but dreadful company. Met a weirdo whose liver must be twice the normal size. 6 whiskies in 45 minutes. That explains all. But he's a massive smoker, too. Perhaps to make up for the health risks produced by his special relationship to McAllen's. I tried to talk to him... and he tried to be funny. Didn't stay there for a very long time. Things can only get better.
