We finally made it to Mayo County, took the bus from Westport to Keel on Achill Island. Occasionally you could see cows - black, white as well as black and white -, happy and healthy beef at this part of the world. To me they looked rather Irish, to be precise, what I expected to be Irish: Cattle with extremely thick fur coats. I wish I had one like that.
