Achill
Sophia Komor

O boy, I am really getting excited. Achill is so close. Many answers could be so close. Helen and me just changed trains to get to Westport, so that we then can take the bus to Achill Island. I hope Helen is okay. The nearer we come to Achill the more silent she gets and the more she looks as if she's got a bad bad teeth-ache. Well, maybe she has got a bad bad teeth-ache and that's why she is so silent. What's more likely? Now, that bus is not really comfortable. But we are two young, tough women who can't be stopped on their mission. Not even a hurting butt is going to stop us from asking the right questions. And maybe the wrong, too. What's more likely? I wonder whether I am going to accidently meet Deirdre [link to: http://www.eu-train.net/connect/story/stories/character-deirdre_o_donnell.htm please] on Achill. That would be too funny, wouldn't it? I think she told me not long ago that she was going to visit her family pretty soon. I haven't seen her much in the days before this trip, so I don't know for sure. I hope I will meet her. I don't know her phone number on Achill, so I can't even coordinate and influence fate. Maybe I'll meet her anyway, maybe I won't. What's more likely? Now we've finally arrived. What are we going to do now? What's going to happen? Is this mystery of our father going to be solved? Or is maybe only the mystery of this strange letter going to be solved? Or is anything going to be solved at all? What's more likely?
