Tom is 28 years old and studying Fine Arts in Kassel. He lives in a commune made up 5 people, plus his dog and the house rat. He usually takes his bike for trips around town; for more far-reaching journeys he takes the train or hitchhikes. His favourite clothing is faded jeans or dressing completely in black. Noodles and pizza are what he enjoys eating most. His hobbies are surfing, travelling and writing.

Tom got to know Brian O`Donnell on one of the last documenta events. They looked at the same picture and Tom got into conservation with him. Brian O`Donnell told Tom that he was an artist and that he had exhibited some of his pictures on a fringe-program concerning Irish Arts on the first documenta 1955.

Tom had been very interested because he wanted to study fine arts after his community service. Now he had received this letter from the Western Light Art Gallery...
