Simmone is a television reporter from one of the Paris news channels. She spent most of her life in war torn countries bringing the people the up-to-date news. Once while reporting from northern Ireland, she decided to take a journey down south and visit Achill Island. She knows that her mother was adopted from Ireland and that her original relatives came from Achill with the name of O'Donel.
While visiting Keel she notices a small art gallery and decides to take a look. She spends time admiring the picturesque landscapes of the photographs and paintings. A bright orange poster on the wall catches Simmone's attention. She reads about the reunion of Brian O'Donnells family and friends in February 2001. Possibly this is Simmone's mother's brother? Or cousin? She reads on and discovers that Brian was an artist. Perhaps that would explain Simmone's interest in art and sculpture. Simmone needs lots of information to help find her Irish relatives.
