Title[1] of Activity |
Travelling to a shared landscape |
Description[2] |
Participants will try to experience the importance of landscape to its human inhabitants and express this experience creatively in writing or visual representation. They will also try to relate the landscape of Achill to that of their home countries. They will explore the meaning of landscape for human life - spiritual as well as economic. They will create an on-line "collage" of pictures and words and link it to the Travel and emigration travelogue. They could perhaps weave a narrative around one of the stones from the deserted village.

If an activity does not meet all criteria, this does not mean it cannot be done, of course. Activities should “largely meet the criteria”. Often other participants have good ideas how to include further aspects which are still missing.
Good luck
