From the airport there are shuttle buses to Cologne main station (city centre) which go frequently (every 10 minutes during the day). From there, please take the “U-Bahn“ (subway) no. 16 in the direction of „Buchheim“ (NOT in the direction of Bonn) to the stop „Muelheim – Wiener Platz“. This will take about 10 minutes. You will know when to get off because „Wiener Platz“ is the first stop after you have crossed the river Rhine. On Thursday, we will be in room no. V403 on the 4rth floor. From Friday, the seminar will take place at the theatre (“Saal“ in German) on the ground floor.

5th November You will have to pay for the hotel yourself; there will be a special price of 47 € per night for the single room with breakfast (this has been arranged with the proprietor, Ricardo Zorgati). The hotel is on Frankfurter Strasse, the main street leading away from Wiener Platz, about 5 minutes‘ walk from where the seminar takes place. The dinner on Thursday night will be at Andrea Pohlmann-Jochheim’s place. We’ll go there together after our excursion to various coffee houses, but just in case: the address is: Trajanstrasse 18
